Website Page Speed Is Essential For Search Engine Optimization
In the past many Webmaster’s do not pay attention to page speed and I do not know why but I can only guess they do not want to put the effort into optimizing websites or just do not know how and why it is necessary. Mobile website page speed and desktop computer page speed are a crucial factor for search engine optimization (SEO). Whenever Healthy Web Design bids on a website design and knows who the present Webmaster is, we look at important factors to educate the potential client. We find many do not optimize the image file size, it is very important in improving page speed. We see top rated Web Design companies with low page speed scores below 50 and in some cases even on their own site at a speed of 30 plus. This is not a good practice in following Google guidelines. In the past this has affected user experience more than Ranking, but that is changing now. Sites that have poor page speed and illegal do follow back links may be in jeopardy of their website being blocked by Google. Google has been cleaning up the Internet in the last couple years and is continuing to catch web designers using these illegal practices. Unfortunately the uneducated consumer could be affected also. If the web design company is placing these paid back links and or do follow links on the clients website, it is the Web Designers client that could also be blocked by Google all the while thinking they were paying for organic SEO. Websites with very little content and nothing but images will not be able to have quality rankings based on Google guidelines.
When Will Poor Page Speed Affect Your Website
It may not happen today or in the next month, but if and when it does, the building of a brand and a great Internet presence can disappear in a second. As a consumer please try to educate yourself as much as possible, do not depend completely on your Website Designer for the best practices of Internet marketing and search engine optimization.
